The Senior Connection Resources "Team" offers terrific opportunities for you, as a Senior Resource Provider, at a very reasonable cost. For a $375 annual investment, you will become a Member of the Team for a full year, and will be able to take advantage of all of the benefits listed below.

The goal of the Senior Connection is to improve the quality of life of Seniors and their Family Caregivers by connecting them with the Companies and Agencies that provide products and services in your local community.

While a large number of products and services do exist in the community to assist Seniors, the problem has been for the Seniors to easily find and connect with you.

The Senior Connection addresses that need. The Senior Connection strives to be the Free, one stop Education and Information center for Seniors and their Family Caregivers in the community.

Senior Resources Conference & Expo

One of the major benefits for our Team Members is booth space in our Senior Resources Conference & Expos, which are scheduled to occur twice per year. The Expos provide an opportunity for our Member agencies to connect with a large portion of the community's Senior Caregiver population in one convenient location, who are encouraged to attend through an extensive publicity campaign. Your $375 Annual Membership fee includes Free booth spaces in the next TWO Senior Resources Conference & Expos held during the year. Additional booths in the same Conference & Expo are available (as space allows) for $150 each.

Exclusive Senior Resources Online Directory

The Senior Resources Online Directory is located on our Senior Connection website and provides an exhaustive source of local Senior Resources Service and Product Providers - Commercial, Nonprofit and Government. The Directory is updated weekly and is available to everyone for Free, and without advertising.

You may already be listed in the Directory. As part of your Member benefits, you can raise the impact of your information in the Directory by expanding your Company information to include a substantive Description of your Company/Agency and the Products and Services that you provide right in your listing in the Directory.

This is an unabashed self-promotion opportunity for you to provide a complete 100-word description of your Company that will be included every time a Senior or Family Caregiver prints out the profile sheet about your Company. Members may change their Description as needed. There is NO CHARGE to Members of the Senior Connection Team for this unparalleled promotional opportunity.

Knowledge Base Articles

An important part of the Senior Connection website is the Knowledge-Base Articles section, which contains articles on a wide variety of topics relating to aging.

The articles are short and sweet, yet go directly to the heart of the matter of some of the most sensitive issues surrounding our fears and frustrations as Seniors or Caregivers. Some are written from the perspective of Caregivers, others from the perspective of the Seniors themselves. No topic is off-limits and new articles are constantly being added.

FREE to our Member Agencies is the opportunity for you, as a local expert, to share some of your knowledge with the local community by authoring one or more new Knowledge-base articles, connecting readers with your Agency while fostering good will in the community. Each Article will be about 500 words and contain the author's bio and company contact info.

3-Minute Video or Slide Show

The Senior Connection website also maintains a section reserved for your Company or Agency containing promotional messages in the form of either video streaming (just like Youtube, but without the advertisements) or a dynamic slide show presentation. If you have a 3-5 minute video or slide show, we will upload it to the website, giving you an outstanding opportunity to put your company 'face with the name' and start the building of a relationship with qualified clients who are looking for your products and services.  Hosting your promotional video on our website is provided FREE to your Company as part of your Membership.

The Senior Connection Newsletter

The Senior Connection publishes a Free monthly Newsletter called the Caregiver Connection that offers tips and education regarding Senior Issues aimed at family Caregivers - the economic engine for Senior Products and Services.

Your Company will be featured prominently in the Caregiver Connection Newsletter through a Sidebar Listing, putting your name in front of an even larger group of Seniors and their Caregivers who already have an interest in the Products and Services that you provide. We include these Agency Sidebar Listings in the Senior Connection Newsletter at no charge to all of our Senior Connection Team Members as part of their benefits.

Speakers Bureau

The Senior Connection Speakers Bureau was created to allow local Gurus (like You!) to address Seniors and Family Caregivers in your community on topics of interest and concern to them, on which you are an expert. The Senior Connection organizes, advertises, and implements these Speakers Bureau presentations. Presenters are selected from the Team Member Companies that show an interest in addressing small groups of qualified attendees - a GREAT way to connect with qualified purchasers of your goods or services in a small non-threatening environment.

You will gain exposure to a group of qualified Seniors and/or Caregivers who want to become better informed consumers of Senior products and services. We arrange the meeting location and attendees, you supply the 30 minute presentation. It's that simple. These presentations are NOT intended to be Sales Pitches, but are opportunities for you to educate potential clients about your industry and the role your company plays, impress potential clients of your breadth of knowledge of your industry and make your attendees more informed consumers of your goods or services (and to let people see that you are a nice person!).

Member Mixers

Networking is crucial to the Bottom Line during these economic times. Networking provides you the opportunity to create alliances with non-competing providers and help you learn and establish strategies to support your company's continued growth by discovering what is and is not working for others. Networking provides you the opportunity to identify the unique qualities of your Company in comparison to your competition. Let's face it, the baby-boomers have enough money to spread around, why not focus on a strategy to get your share. 

The Senior Connection will put together several Mixers throughout the year to ensure that the Senior Goods and Services Companies that are Team Members get the opportunity to network together, and offer the opportunity to select Team Members to host one of these Networking Mixers at their facility. 

Hosting is open only to Team Member Agencies, and further limited to those Companies which could benefit from the experience (i.e. Open House, new product demonstration, etc), can provide the required meeting space (~500 sq ft), and can provide the proper ambiance (snacks and beverages). 

Only Team Member Companies and their Guests are invited to attend these Senior Connection Networking Mixers. Each attendee is expected to give their "30-second Elevator Speech" to the rest of the attendees in order to introduce themselves, their company and their product during the opening Welcome by the Hosting Member. Lots of fun and a great social gathering.

Agency Critiques

As a Member, you'll have the opportunity to receive input intended to help identify your agency’s strengths and attributes. While we do not presume to know your business better than you, we have found it is sometimes easy to take for granted some of the unique qualities that can make you valuable to potential clients. The critique is intended to help stimulate ideas.
